Not to be confused with the Madness musical of the same name, this is John Godber's poignantly funny play about May, a widowed pensioner who packs up her Northern council house to start a new life in the sun.
Forced to face the future without her husband, she remembers the hardship, laughter, sorrow and joy of the last 45 years one last time as the removal van is loaded.
A tapestry of memories unfolds in this tale of changing times: birthdays and Christmasses, childhood pets and neighbours from hell.
Through a mix of humour and pathos, Godber illustrates how moving on can often take much more than moving out.
