Best known for his Book Club - for which he won the 2006 Time Out Award For Outstanding Comedy - Robin Ince launches a monthly residency at Kemp Town's new arts venue tonight.
Less literary discussion, more comedic mockery, the now-defunct Book Club attracted the likes of Josie Long and Natalie Haynes - both, like Ince, proponents of humour with brains.
Also seen as failed interviewee Stuart Foot in The Office and in Ricky Gervais' shows Politics and Fame, Ince's new show drops the previous props to return to straightforward stand-up.
Celebrated for his experimental style, every month will showcase new material: he warns that there "may be some uncertain ideas in there".
- Starts 8pm, tickets cost £7/£6, call 07786 984900
