Henry James's novella has been sending chills down the spine ever since it was first published at the end of the 19th century.

This stage adaptation by Ali Gorton stars Honeysuckle Weeks as the governess convinced thatthe two children in her care are being corrupted by the ghosts of her predecessors Peter Quint and Miss Jessel.

The spooky tale was the inspiration for the Deborah Kerr-starring classic film The Innocents as well as Nicole Kidman's blockbusting turn in The Others.

This stage version features a ghostly violinist and the sort of special effects that will leave your hair standing on end - a must for fans of The Woman In Black.
