The story, based on David Garnett's novel and set in France after the war, follows a young man who falls for an alluring actress and takes her to his uncle's villa.
The arrival of his Uncle George turns everything on its head in a love story that spans 20 years and takes in passion, desire, friendship and family ties.
David plays George in this new production, which also features West End stars Shona Lindsay and Poppy Tierney.
