Formed by Ashley Hutchings after he left electro-folk pioneers Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span’s original line-up included vocalist Maddy Prior, who is still in the current band.

For this tour Maddy is joined by long-time band members fiddler Peter Knight and bassist Rick Kemp with later additions Liam Genockey on drums and Ken Nicol on guitar, who have also recorded a new album of interpretations of traditional songs.
