Another band warming up for their V Festival appearances in Stafford and Chelmsford is Denmark’s Alphabeat.
The six-piece is currently working on the follow-up to their debut album This Is Alphabeat. This Brighton show is set to be the first airing of new album tracks and the band’s new single The Spell, which will be released in October.
According to the band’s MySpace blog the new album has been inspired by Italian house, in particular the works of one-hit wonders Black Box, Ace Of Base and the classic dance music history book Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.
