A last-minute booking for one of Brighton’s most intimate music venues, and a real treat for folk-lovers, The Copper Family are playing their only gig in Brighton this week.
The Rottingdean-based family have been keeping traditional English folk songs alive for generations.
The family, who perform the songs handed down through the family acapella, were first discovered by Kate Lee, one of the founders of the Folk Song Society, in 1898.
In the following years, the family was encouraged to write down and record as many songs as they knew.
- Starts 8.30pm, tickets £9. Call 01273 680734.
