Jazz singer Claire Martin is bringing along a few special guests for a one-off show at The Old Market to raise money for the Brighton and Hove Mayor’s Charities.
Joining the woman described by Jazz Times as the best ever British jazz singer will be guitarist Jim Mullen and BBC Jazz Award-winner Liane Carroll, as well as singers from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music.
Expect to hear tracks from across the Brighton-based singer’s 17-year career, including selections from her last album He Never Mentioned Love The proceeds from the show will be split between the Rockinghorse Appeal, Martlet’s Hospice, the Sussex Heart Charity and the Alzheimers Society.
