They only finished secondary school last June – now Crouch End’s Bombay Bicycle Club are preparing to release their debut album. After releasing two EPs on their own label, the band released single Evening/Morning on London indie label Young And Lost Club, showcasing a heavier, more urgent sound. They have now signed to Island and plan to release I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Off in July.
Recorded towards the end of last year at Konk Studios in London, the album was produced by band favourite Jim Abbiss.
