Following up Natasha Khan’s Nationwide Mercury Music Prize-nominated Fur And Gold was always going to be tough. Two Suns, Bat For Lashes’ new album, which was released on Monday, takes its title from the two different places she was living while writing and recording her new opus – New York and her hometown of Brighton.
It also introduces Natasha’s blonde alter ego Pearl, who appears on a series of songs.
The Dome Corn Exchange may be the biggest venue Bat For Lashes has played in Brighton, but it is peanuts compared to her last set of shows supporting Radiohead.
