A chance meeting at the BBC's Folk Britannia night Daughters Of Albion led to Mercury-nominated singer-songwriter Kathryn Williams teaming up with super-sessionman Neill MacColl.
The pair were teamed up to perform Neill's father Ewan's classic song The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, and afterwards agreed to record together. In a six-day burst the pair laid down 21 songs for a projected album, which have since been pared down to 13 and released under the title Two.
Helping them put the songs together was engineer and producer Phill Brown, who has Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven and classic albums by The Rolling Stones, Roxy Music and Brian Eno on his CV.
- Starts 8.30pm, tickets £15. Call 01273 647100.
