Now with two founder members gone and new girl Amelle Berrabah's life turning into a tabloid dream, the Sugababes story is starting to look like a strange kind of soap opera.

In the News Of The World earlier this month, Amelle talked about being questioned by police over allegedly smashing up a car and her boyfriend Freddie's arrest for an alleged sexual assault.

In a further twist Freddie was also the victim of a vicious machete attack in a pub car park last Christmas.

The offstage antics haven't stopped the hits from coming, though, with the girls scaling to the top of the charts with their single About You Now and album Change.
