From soundtracking ITV's Robin Hood series to collaborating with Bono on the hit single In A Lifetime, Ireland's Clannad built up a massive fanbase in the Eighties.
The newly reunited band is touring the UK for the first time in ten years, having taken a break after 1998's Grammy Award-winning album Landmarks. The group, made up of siblings Moya and Ciaran Brennan and their uncles Noel and Padraig Duggan, was formed in rural Gweedore, in Donegal. They released their first folk-influenced album in 1973.
Their 1978 collection Crann Ull featured another Brennan sibling, Enya, who later found international fame for herself with the single Orinoco Flow.
