Eridge Park provided a beautiful rural area and the perfect setting for the next three days of music, comedy, cabaret and a whole lot more for the first ever Forgotten Fields Festival.
Likeable, political songwriter Beans On Toast kicked things off on the Friday morning. He engaged the crowd and made the most of the friendly atmosphere by inviting children who were "invading" the stage to sing along with him.
The first night came to a head with an energetic fun-filled performance from Basement Jaxx.
Saturday's acts impressed again, with Super Furry Animals headlining the main stage, to a gigantic crowd of fans who were happy to sing along to the band's greatest hits.
Sunday's main stage hosted some impressive acts, Levellers headlined and showed that they've still got what it takes to pull in a weary, Sunday evening festival crowd.
De La Soul and Too Many T's had the crowd in the palm of their hands, but the band that really stole the show was Augustines. From the moment the band stepped on stage front man Billy McCarthy wowed the crowd with a powerful and emotional performance.
A great little festival - for their first time out the organisers did themselves proud. Great entertainment and lots to do, not just at the main stage but in the smaller tents too.
Five stars
