It was not the first time ska punks Less Than Jake had graced Brighton's Concorde 2 - and lead singer Chris Demakes implied it was like a home away from home.
The five-piece line up remained the same after all these years and it was clear to see that the band's enthusiasm for the genre or for playing hadn't wavered.
From the outset the agenda was for everyone to just have fun. And Less Than Jake did their best throughout the set to make sure this happened.
As well as lengthy, crass, but very funny banter between almost every song, the band used props and gimmicks during the set much to the fans' delight - one highlight was firing toilet paper from a wind blower out into the crowd.
However the craziness never overshadowed the fact Less Than Jake performed a great set of songs, if anything it only emphasised it. An impressive performance of great songs old and new from the masters of ska punk.
