A whirlwind of feelgood flashbacks and singalong tunes, the McBusted concert was a fun experience all round.
With a Back To The Future car, a Jackson Five cover and pop taken to the max, who needs Charlie and his eyebrows when you’ve got McFly and the rest of Busted.
The support acts did a fine job in warming up the audience, but they certainly weren't going to get the crowd on their feet like James, Matt and the McFly massive.
The mix of McBusted hits, including Air Hostess, Year 3000 and What I Go To School For, was cleverly planned, with stage sparks and theatrical effects keeping everyone engaged.
One of the highlights was Matt Willis wearing a meringue wedding dress to perform How I Crashed The Wedding and Harry Judd going topless.
There wasn’t an encore and there were fewer McFly classics than could have been hoped for. But overall it was an entertaining evening.
It was a grand finale for McBusted but the hope of this fan is for McFly to announce a solo tour.
