Women On the Verge was a delightfully messy night of cabaret acts celebrating female artists, led by the endearing Lynn Ruth Miller as compere, whose audience interaction was witty and perfectly pitched.

The night comprised three diverse artists, with Foxy & Husk getting the party started. Foxy performed a live caricature, decked in full face make-up and a flamboyant furry outfit, using interviews with two women about their experiences of love and sex as voiceovers. The mimicry was beautifully observed; a skilful pastiche performance which managed to be extremely funny without losing the pathos of the testimonies.

Cameryn Moore regaled us with tales from her experience as a phone sex operator, exploring the fantasies of the men who call her. Her delivery was punchy and the stories were entertaining.

Rosana Cade provided the brash final act as the human glitter ball – her shaven head and face entirely covered in glitter which cascaded down her naked body. She serenaded us with Donna Summer's I Feel Love, standing over a live feed camera she mimed the song with her vagina.

Move over Puppetry Of The Penis, Cade achieved a playful blend of humour and impact in this cheeky performance.
