THE first wave of speakers for the Brighton Music Conference 2020 has been announced.
The award-winning electronic music and networking event will feature Hove’s own Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, along with Carl Cox, Danny Howard, Sam Divine, Timo Maas, Darius Syrossian, Derrick May and DJ Rap. The event returns to the i360 on Brighton seafront from April 22 to 25.
The Brighton Music Conference 2020 (BMC20) is to host more than 65 talks, seminars and workshops.
Industry-leading speakers will take part in in-depth discussions and debates on the biggest issues facing the electronic and wider music industry including diversity, mental health, the environment and current music and business trends.
BMC20 will also hold exclusive networking parties in the i360 pod.
The venue will house two pro conference theatres, two academy theatres, the BMC networking hub, the pro meeting lounge, the Point Blank Theatre hosting demonstrations and talks and a specialised exhibition/technology and services zone.
The “Label Lounge” also returns for 2020 following its success last year.
This will take place on Friday, April 24, at the The Tempest Inn where major labels in electronic music will once again be taking part in one-to-one feedback sessions.
Last year 18 tracks were signed to labels including Champion, Cr2, Glasgow Underground, Labelworx, Skint and Ultra.
More information about the event programme and events are expected soon.
