Baron Estates has combined the opening of its new office in Western Road with a partnership with Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
The estate and letting agent, which already has two offices in Brighton, is supporting the charity by offering 0% commission to property sellers who instruct the new Western Road office to sell their property. All they are asking in return is that the seller makes a donation of at least £500 to Rockinghorse on completion of their property sale.
Rockinghorse is the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (the Alex) and a vital supporter of the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU), raising money for life-saving and cutting edge medical equipment, while ensuring that children are treated in an environment better suited to their needs.
Danny Ross, manager of Baron Estates, said: “Rockinghorse is an excellent charity in our city – I have had first-hand experience of where the money they raise can really make a difference and we are proud to be supporting them.”
Analiese Doctrove, head of fundraising at Rockinghorse, said: “We are extremely pleased to launch our partnership with Baron Estates. Danny, along with some of the staff, visited the Alex recently to meet some of the young patients and witness how the money they raise will be used to purchase vital pieces of equipment.”
