This category celebrates a public service in the city that has had an outstanding year in all aspects of the service it offers from its staff to the way it has operated.

We are looking for services which are not just relied on by the public, but which respond to that demand with courtesy and efficiency, making a difference to the lives they serve.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.
