This award honours performers, artists, writers, musicians, arts distracters, teachers, organisations and events who have shaped the cultural landscape of Sussex.

Nominations can come from big events such as the Brighton Fringe and Festival, or smaller scale such as a university department, am dram tutor or an artist who has produced extraordinary work.

It could be an exhibition, play or concert which highlighted the cultural talent of the county.

Award winners will be announced at a glitzy awards night held at Theatre Royal Brighton hosted by newsreader Nicholas Owen in October.
