Profile: This weekend sees the return of a Brighton institution: Club Kovak, an electro/indie/pop night curated by the city's own Kovak.

The five-piece claim to love people who dance, spill their pints, snog strangers, love their music and have a kebab on the way home.

The band has been holed away during the winter in a haunted 15th century manor on the Isle Of Wight to record an album with producer Andy Gray.

On top of that Kovak has a new superfan in the shape of LA's KROQ DJ Rodney Bingenheimer, who has been playing their latest single I Love The Dancefloor.
