Profile: Already a well-known figure on the Brighton music scene for his musical tribute events to Rufus Wainwright, Elvis Costello and David Bowie among others, Kit Ashton finally released his long-awaited debut album last November. Reveal Or Steal was produced by Mark Edwards, Brit-award- winner Mike Crossey and Paul Burton. Last year Kit travelled the country with fellow Brightonian Thomas White to promote the new album, as well as organising the ambitious Music And Freedom: Imagining Beyond Consumer Capitalism event at Concorde 2, which featured Leveller Mark Chadwick, Brighton Pavilion MP Caroline Lucas and singer-songwriter Chris T-T.
