Albion are hopeful their striker shortage will not be increased by an injury to Glenn Murray.
Murray limped out of the 2-0 defeat at Leicester on Saturday in the second half.
Boss Chris Hughton told The Argus: "He got a whack on the ankle - that was the early one - and then he got another one on the same spot later in the game before we took him off. We'll assess him - it doesn't look like anything dramatic."
Sam Baldock is unlikely to be available until October following summer calf surgery, which is keeping him sidelined much longer than expected.
Meanwhile, Izzy Brown could return to Albion from Chelsea after Saturday's trip to Watford.
Loan signing Brown has been back at Stamford Bridge for treatment since limping out of the opening Premier League defeat by Manchester City at the Amex with a hamstring injury.
Hughton said: "The only good thing is if you do a hamstring and it's a grade two, that can be anything up to six weeks. Certainly it's not that severe, that's the good news.
"They (Chelsea) will continue to work with him this week and we are hoping to have him back after the Watford game."
Steve Sidwell, absent from the squad at Leicester, misses out against Barnet this evening but should be back in contention for the Watford game.
Hughton said: "He tweaked his back two days before (Leicester). We thought he would be okay.
"He will be fine. He won't be involved on Tuesday, but he should be fine for Saturday."
