ALBION have Izzy Brown on their radar.
But reports that Chelsea’s 20-year-old attacker is close to joining the Seagulls are premature.
The Argus understands Albion have an interest in Brown, who helped Huddersfield to promotion last season.
It has not progressed further than that at this stage.
Brown is in a similar situation to Chelsea team-mate Tammy Abraham.
England under-21s striker Abraham joined Swansea on a season-long loan after the Welshmen won a three-way fight with Albion and Newcastle in the wake of his scoring exploits for Bristol City in the Championship last season.
Brown, like Abraham, is set to sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and make a loan move to the Premier League.
Huddersfield have been keen to buy the England under-20s star, or borrow him again, while Southampton have also been linked.
