Albion are in a two-way fight with Fulham to re-sign Steve Sidwell.
The experienced midfielder, surplus to requirements at Stoke, was at the Amex today as a guest of Bobby Zamora to watch Albion's 2-1 win against Huddersfield.
He saw Zamora, a team-mate previously at both Albion and Fulham, volley the Seagulls ahead.
Sidwell, 33, was on loan to Albion from Arsenal in the Championship in 2002-03.
He has made 200 appearances in the Premier League for Reading, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Fulham and Stoke.
