Crawley Town have denied Steve Coppell could be about to leave the club to join Nottingham Forest.
The denial comes less than 24 hours after the club issued a similar statement following reports linking Sean O'Driscoll with the vacant manager's post at the City ground.
Reports emerging from the East Midlands suggest both men have been interviewed by Forest's new owners.
But Crawley chief executive Alan Williams said there had been no contact with Forest regarding either manager O'Driscoll or director of football Coppell.
In response to the latest reports regarding Coppell, Williams said: "Steve Coppell is our director of football and will be come the start of the season, the middle of the season and the end of the season. Simple as that."
