Striker Tyrone Barnett is ruled out for the second game in a row as Crawley name an unchanged side for today's clash with Accrington Stanley.
Barnett was expected to return after a scan on a hamstring problem came back clear but is not even included on the bench.
It means John Akinde makes his second league start of the season alongside Matt Tubbs in attack.
Claude Davis is fit to play despite a foot injury injury so skipper Pablo Mills has to be content with a place on the bench after making his first appearance for seven months as a substitute in the 3-1 victory over Dagenham on Tuesday.
Josh Simpson continues at right-back with David Hunt included among the substitutes at the expense of Jon-Paul Pittman.
Accrington make one change to the side which lost 1-0 against Shrewsbury on Tuesday with Danny Coid coming in at the expense of Will Hatfield.
Crawley (4-4-2): Shearer; Simpson, McFadzean, Davis, Howell; Neilson, Drury, Bulman, Torres; Tubbs, Akinde. Subs: Kuipers, Mills, Akpan, Hunt, Doughty.
Accrington (4-2-3-1): Dunbavin; Coid, Winnard, Long, McIntyre; Procter, Joyce; Barnett, Murphy, Amond; Spray. Subs: Murdoch, Lindfield, Dobie, Burton, Hatfield.
