Eastbourne Borough striker Jamie Taylor has turned down a new deal at Priory Lane to join Lincoln City.
Taylor finished as Borough's top scorer last season with 15 goals and was voted as the supporters' club player of the year.
Borough were keen to keep hold of the 28-year-old but the former Horsham forward was unable to refuse the opportunity of full-time football with the Imps.
Boss Garry Wilson had already taken steps to fill the gap if Taylor left by signing strikers Carl Rook, Ian Pulman and Ben Watson during the summer.
Borough are still waiting to hear whether Richard Pacquette will accept a new deal but he is also expected to move on.
