Dan Harding is back at Albion on trial.
He joined the Seagulls for training today with fellow trialists Michael Ricketts and former Millwall and Gillingham midfielder Danny Spiller.
Harding has been released by Ipswich after hopes of a permanent deal with Reading, where he was on loan last season, were wrecked by the departure of ex-Albion manager Steve Coppell.
The former England under 21 leftback quit Albion for Leeds four years ago.
Harding still has a home in Brighton and has taken up Albion's offer of training with them as he searches for a new club.
Harding, Ricketts and Spiller are all expected to play a part in one or both of Albion's opening pre-season friendlies at Havant and Waterlooville tomorrow night and Worthing on Wednesday.
