TWO Sussex cricketers have been named in the England squad for the upcoming Test match against Pakistan.
The pair are part of the 14-man squad which will play in the second #RaiseTheBat match which launched yesterday at The Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
It is the second time the duo have been named in the squad together, though Ollie Robinson has yet to make his full debut for the national side.
And the 26-year-old has big shoes to fill, coming in for Ben Stokes after the Durham all-rounder left the team’s headquarters following the first test for family reasons.
Jofra Archer makes to the squad after being excluded over a breach in the team’s biosecurity protocols last month. He made an unauthorised trip to his home in Hove ahead of England’s second #RaiseTheBat Test against the West Indies.
But he was restored to the side for the third Test in the series late last month, and will now play his part in the upcoming match against Pakistan.
