Relegated Stoke are the latest club to be linked with Albion keeper Tim Krul.
Bournemouth's Adam Federici is also reportedly of interest to the Potters, according to the Stoke Sentinel, as they bid to replace one keeper and probably two.
Lee Grant is on his way to Manchester United as back-up.
Stoke's first choice Jack Butland, currently with England at the World Cup, is likely to move as well before the transfer deadline.
Albion have not given up hope of hanging onto Krul, now a free agent after understudying Mathew Ryan last season and a target already for Fulham.
Stoke have also previously been linked with former Albion No.1 Tomasz Kuszczak, who played under new boss Gary Rowett at Birmingham.
