Albion have added Yeovil prospect Joseph Tomlinson to their promoted under-23s.

The 17-year-old will link up with Simon Rusk's squad on July 1 on a free transfer from the League Two club.

Rusk said: "He is a talented young defender who has progressed well at Yeovil and will strengthen our defensive options going into the new season.

"I am looking forward to seeing how he progresses and we are keen to contribute towards his future development."

Tomlinson started his career at Southampton. He joined Yeovil on a scholarship deal in May 2016 and has played for their under-18s for the past two seasons.

He has joined Albion on a one-year deal.
