Albion are poised to make a profit for the first time in a decade after reaching the Premier League.
The Seagulls recently announced a near £40 million loss last season, when they were promoted from the Championship.
Their financial position will be transformed by a £100 million revenue boost in the Premier League this season, mostly from their share of the lucrative TV pot.
Football finance expert Kieran Maguire told The Argus: "The club should make a small profit (0-£10m) based on finishing 17th.
"It will be dependent upon the final league position as you get £1.9m prize money for each position further up the table.
"If the club manage to hold on to 12th then profits could boost the figures."
Albion were last in the black in 2008, when they made a £1 million profit in League One at Withdean.
They have accumulated losses in excess of £100 million over the last five seasons following the move to the Amex.
Owner-chairman Tony Bloom's total investment has risen to £279 million, including another £28 million loan last season.
