Kazenga LuaLua is back with Albion from Queens Park Rangers.
The winger's second loan spell in as many seasons at Loftus Road, due to end in January, has been cut short by mutual agreement.
Rangers boss Ian Holloway hinted earlier this week that LuaLua, 26, would be returning to Albion after failing to command a regular place in his Championship side.
Holloway said: "We borrowed him until January, he lost his father and I think he lost his confidence.
"I don't feel he was doing as well as some of my lads who I've brought here.
"Unless he rips it up and shows me – and he's trying to – I think the loss of confidence and loss of his father has really hit him."
