Albion boss Chris Hughton is ready to confront further interest in Lewis Dunk and his other star performers.
He has reiterated the club's stance that Dunk is not for sale.
The Seagulls recently rejected a £5 million bid from Crystal Palace for the centre-half.
Midfield duo Dale Stephens and Beram Kayal, pictured, along with winger Anthony Knockaert, are also potential targets for other clubs.
Hughton told The Argus: "You always have to expect and accept that if players have done well then there might be some interest and you have to be able to deal with it.
"There has been some interest in him (Dunk) but the message is we want to keep our best players. That would certainly be the case with Dunk.
"We are not thinking of selling any players. That's not what we want to do. The statement from the club is the right thing, he is not for sale.
"You have to accept he might not be the only one and there might be more interest in him."
Connor Goldson has set his sights on continuing his defensive partnership with Dunk.
The ex-Shrewsbury stopper, pictured below, said: "It's just a case of trying to carry on from where I left off, start the season well and then it's up to me to keep my place.
"There are now three first team centre-halves (Uwe Huenemeier) and there's another young lad that has come in from Motherwell (Ben Hall).
"It's the same every year and there's going to be competition for every place. It's all about making sure you're fit and it's up to the gaffer to pick what he feels is right."
