Sam Baldock has declared himself “raring to go” as Albion aim to put their promotion bid back on course at Rotherham tomorrow.

The Albion forward went on as a second-half substitute during the FA Cup defeat to Hull after two months out with a thigh injury.

Kazenga LuaLua also made his comeback from injury.

Baldock told The Argus : “There is no point reflecting now on a defeat.

“We are out of the Cup and we have got to look forward to Rotherham.

“I’m available and raring to go.”

Baldock revealed how Albion had reined him in as he strained at the leash to return.

He added: “I think the Cup game has been the staff’s target date for me.

“I’ve been trying to move it forward, inching towards games.

“They have been fairly cautious with me. I have been training for two weeks.

“Potentially a week is the benchmark but I’m happy to be back.”
