Matt Tubbs has been ruled out of Crawley Town’s visit to Preston today by a minor hamstring injury.
The move is believed to be precautionary with a busy run of games ahead, including a visit to Port Vale on Tuesday.
Preston-born striker Jamie Proctor returns to the line-up in place of Tubbs.
Josh Simpson is also back but is expected to play at right-back with Mark Connolly switching to the centre of defence in the absence of the suspended Kyle McFadzean.
New loan signings Jeffrey Monkana and Gwion Edwards are among the substitutes but defender Paul Connolly misses out due to a groin injury.
Crawley: P.Jones; Simpson, M.Connolly, Walsh, Sadler; M.Jones, Bulman, Drury, Torres; Clarke, Proctor. Subs: Fallon, Kaikai, Boateng, Monakana, Edwards, Dicker, Maddison.
Preston: Rudd, Clarke, King, Keane, Buchanan, Holmes, Welsh, Kilkenny, Gallagher, Beavon, Garner. Subs: Laird, Wright, Humphrey, K.Davies, C.Davies, Browne, Stuckmann.
