Nicky Shorey's trial with Albion has ended and he is now training with Championship rivals Millwall.
The former England left-back featured in last Saturday's opening pre-season friendly at Whitehawk on Saturday under new head coach Oscar Garcia but has parted company with the club ahead of next week's trip to Spain.
Shorey, 32, had been training with the squad since the players reported back last month, before Oscar Garcia's appointment was confirmed.
Albion are in urgent need of a left-back after Wayne Bridge moved to Reading and his understudy Marcos Painter was released.
