Toby Agdestein scored three and made another as Albion’s development squad romped to a 4-0 victory in the Sussex Senior Cup final at The Amex.
The Norwegian was restricted to three substitute appearances for the first team this season, all last August, but he gave a reminder of his potential with a man-of-the-match display.
Albion broke the deadlock in the 13th minute when Glen Rea swept the ball wide left to skipper Agdestein who collected it well, cut inside and shot low into the far corner.
The Rocks should have equalised on 29 minutes when Courtney Richards brought down Dan Kempson for a penalty which Ollie Pearce blasted well wide.
Pearce almost made amends five minutes later with a looping header which Albion goalkeeper Grant Smith tipped on to the crossbar and over.
Albion made a triple substitution at half-time and doubled their advantage within 20 seconds of the restart as as Agdestein ran through to finish with aplomb past Stoner.
A third goal followed on 53 minutes with Agdestein the provider this time, crossing low for substitute George Barker to tap home at the far post.
Agdestein completed his hat-trick 13 minutes from time with another smart finish, picking his spot after being set up by Brennan Dickenson.
