I read that sheep are to be introduced to Wild Park, Brighton (The Argus, July 28).
Is this some sort of joke? One can only imagine the poor sheep being terrorised by the many dogs which run off the lead in this busy park on the edge of a housing estate.
There are many questions which must be answered before we consider putting vulnerable animals in a city park. How long are the sheep going to be kept there? Where are they going to be sited?
Who is going to look after them? How will they interfere with the people using the park, such as footballers? How will the sheep get to and from the park?
The idea would be quite funny if taxpayers weren’t paying someone to come up with these ridiculous ideas.
