Plans are being finalised for the visit of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to Brighton and Hove.
The Royal train will arrive at Brighton train station on the morning of Thursday, March 8, and the couple will travel by car to the Theatre Royal in New Road for 10.15am.
The Queen will tour the theatre and watch a special concert to celebrate its 200-year anniversary, including a performance from students of Brighton and Hove Music and Performing Arts who will be joined by singer Carleen Anderson.
The couple will then watch a performance from the bicycle ballet from the balcony of the theatre before meeting and greeting people in New Road.
The Queen's next stop will be at the Jubilee Library while Prince Philip will visit a trapeze workshop at the Pavilion Theatre.
They will tour the Brighton Dome and the Corn Exchange and then have lunch at Brighton Racecourse.
In the afternoon the Queen will visit the Roundabout Children's Centre in Whitehawk Road, Whitehawk, which provides services to children under five and their families and Prince Philip will visit The Crew Club in Coolham Drive, to officially open the new building which was built for young people living in Whitehawk.
Brighton and Hove Mayor, Councillor David Smith, said: "We are thrilled that Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh will be coming to Brighton and Hove.
"We are proud to be giving them a snapshot of the many cultural highlights the city has to offer in music, theatre and the arts, as well as the fantastic work being done for children and young people."
