A campaigner is outraged after flowers laid in memory of animals were taken away.
Following the recent publicity about the film War Horse and animals that gave their lives to the war effort, Cynthia O’Neil, of Stonefield Way, Burgess Hill, laid flowers in their name at the Burgess Hill war memorial.
However, twice in the last two weeks they have been taken away.
Mrs O’Neil, who is behind plans for a national war memorial outside the Dorchester in London to animals that served the country, wants the person responsible to come forward.
