A landmark tourist attraction has passed the final hurdle for its development.
Brighton and Hove Council's Licensing panel has approved an application for a Highway Licence for the Brighton Wheel in Dalton’s Bastion, near Madeira Drive.
The council gave planning permission for the £6 million privately funded attraction in May.
But opponents to the Wheel have vowed pursue other options including taking the case to the European Union.
