UPDATED April 28: Dozens of Police officers raided addresses in Sussex ahead of the Royal Wedding.
The Metropolitan Police, working with Sussex Police and City of London officers, executed warrants at three addresses in Hove just before 8am on Wednesday morning.
Police were seeking protesters wanted in connection with violent disorder after the TUC protests in London last month.
It was rumoured they were being sought now in a bid to keep protesters away from the capital ahead of Friday's Royal Wedding.
Officers used battering rams to break their way into the addresses in Westbourne Villas, Sackville Road and Lansdowne Place.
Sussex Police said seven people were arrested.
