Apologies for no blog for four days, something happened. Thank you to Jo Wadsworth for getting it fixed.

Friday and today have been pretty similar - up at 5.30, out at 6.15, cycle to office via Dyke Road Drive, the Drive, seafront cycle path, Basin Road South, Shoreham locks, couple of miles of A259 into central Shoreham, across the footbridge (that's me at 7.00 on Friday with the sun coming up), along the back of Widewater Lagoon to Lancing, cycle path into central Worthing. I then use main roads through Worthing to West Worthing Station, across the railway line, up to the A24 roundabout and left along the A27 to Swandean. On Friday morning it was bright and clear and absolutely freezing - well, 2 •C - my hands were like blocks of ice in fingerless bike gloves. It was even colder at 18.00 when I left the office. I was cycling into a bitter East wind, so after 4 miles I let the train take the strain, and was warm and snug back to Brighton Station and then only 1.5 miles to ride home - 22 miles in total.

At the weekend, I went into town by bus and bought some cosy waterproof cycling gloves plus saw the famous skateboarding dog! Later I listened via Radio Sussex to our two Sussex teams gallantly playing their hearts out in the FA cup. I am an Albion fan through and through, but I thought Crawley Town were amazing and made Manchester United look very ordinary. On Sunday, a friend and I walked to the Duke of York's cinema to see The Red Shoes. Black Swan it wasn't, but at least Moira Shearer could dance.

Today it was slightly warmer and hoorah, not raining despite the forecast. Mind you, once you are wet through, things can't get any worse. It helps to work in a warm office where you can dry everything before the homeward journey - putting on wet clothes is not nice. Today is another busy day at the office with a 35 mile round trip on the bike.

I only have 6 more days to go. Please click HERE to check out why I'm doing this and to see my sponsorship progress. Thank you!
