None of the 53 people arrested at the anti-arms demonstration in Brighton yesterday have been charged.
In total 43 people were arrested to prevent a breach of the peace while other offences included theft, criminal damage and affray.
The 200-strong demonstration, targeted at Moulsecoomb-based defence manufacturer EDO, was policed by aapproximately 250 officers.
Sussex Police has yet to reveal full details of the cost but has admitted it will be in excess of £100,000.
