A teenager has earned his school fees by busking through the summer holidays.
Sixteen-year-old Richard Hadfield shunned Saturday jobs and turned his back on paper rounds this summer and instead elected to sing songs for three hours a day in three of the city’s most popular spots.
Through his busy busking summer Richard has earned nearly £4,000 for his school fees by singing songs in Ship Street, New Street and Churchill Square.
The schoolboy crooner has earned an amazing £3,800 and will be able to go to his Hurstpierpoint College to study for A-levels in music, drama, PE and business studies.
