Police are continuing to investigate a suspicious fire which completely gutted the inside of a Greek Orthodox Church.
The blaze, which happened in Carlton Hill, Brighton, on Sunday July 4, quickly spread through the church building and an area of the church used as a classroom for children was completely destroyed along with all their equipment and work.
Officers are eager to trace the owner of a blue Renault Scenic which was seen near the church between 2.20pm and 2.35pm, just before the fire was reported, so that they can be eliminated from the inquiry.
The owner and anyone with information can contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999, quoting serial 1118 of July 4.
