Geoff Raynsford believes Worthing United have the best backroom staff in Sussex.
Former Albion manager Barry Lloyd is the latest person to join the set-up after agreeing to take on a role as football advisor.
Lloyd was Raynsford's boss at Worthing during their successful period in the early Eighties prior to Lloyd taking a post with Albion.
Now the pair have been reunited at County League division two side United and Raynsford is delighted.
"It is a tremendous coup for the club," said Raynsford.
"He is taking training and giving valuable experience to the players and me. He is very keen and it will be a great boost for the club.
"It now makes our football structure at the club one of the best in Sussex."
Also working behind the scenes at Worthing United are former Albion striker Richard Tiltman, who is Raynsford's assistant, club coach Bruce Aitken, first team coach Glen Houchen, director of football Keith Rowley and goalkeeping coach Phil Bonetti.
In addition Tony Turton has taken over as reserve team manager while Phil Everest, who ran the reserves last year, is now youth development officer.
Raynsford added: "Having played under Barry for quite a few years at Worthing, I know he has tremendous experience and I have great respect for him.
"He knows the game inside out and he knows a good player when he sees one. That will be a great help to me and to the club."
It is a buoyant time for Worthing United with floodlights going up in September and plans to launch a centre of excellence for youngsters next year.
Raynsford wants to hear from young players who may want to join the club and anyone interested can contact him on 07958 322129.
